Bezel Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Replenish Labs, doing business as Bezel (“Bezel,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), may collect, use, and disclose your personal information in connection with products and services offered through Bezel and our website (collectively, the “Services”). You accept this policy by using the Services through our website, application, or by any other means.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable, financial, and transactional information (collectively, “Personal Information”) gathered when you use or access the Services, as well as Personal Information shared between us and any third parties for use in connection with the Services. By using the Services, you authorize us to review and share your information (including Personal Information) with third parties as described herein.

When we share your Personal Information with vendors and other service providers who perform functions on our behalf (collectively, “Service Providers”), we require them to protect the security and confidentiality of your information, limit their use of the information to what is reasonably necessary to perform their services, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to Service Providers that you choose to access through the Services or third parties with whom you share information directly. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any third parties or Service Providers you access through the Services.

What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

The information we gather enables us to personalize, improve, and continue to operate the Services. Below we describe the types of information we collect and how we use it.

Account Information

When you create a Bezel account, sign up for our newsletter, or otherwise provide your contact information, you will provide us with Personal Information that may include your name, username, password, email address, and phone number. We use this information to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and communicate with you about the Services.

Payment Information

When you make payments through the Services, we and our third-party payment processors collect information related to your credit card transactions, such as your payment method, card number, card type, and expiration date. The use and storage of payment information is governed by this Privacy Policy. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

Card Transaction Information

We work with Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to read and retrieve your credit card transaction data. By using our Services, you grant us and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your Personal Information, including your financial and transaction information, from the relevant financial institution. You agree to your Personal Information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid Privacy Policy. Transaction data retrieved through Plaid may include transaction amounts, dates, merchant names, and card identifiers.

User Content

Images, videos, prompts, and other content you upload to or create through the Services. We use this content to provide and improve the Services, including training and enhancing our AI models unless you opt out where applicable.

Web Browser and Device Information

We and our Service Providers automatically receive and record information from your web browser when you visit our website, including your IP address, cookie information, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and information about your behavior on the site. We use this information to fight fraud, analyze your interaction with the Services, and improve the user experience.

Usage Data

The Services automatically collect usage information, such as the number and frequency of visits, features used, pages viewed, and timestamps. This aggregate data enables us to determine how often individuals use parts of the Services so that we can analyze and improve them.

Information We Receive from Third Parties

We may collect information about you from third parties that perform services and analytics for us, including fraud detection services and data analytics providers, as well as certain of our Service Providers and their partners.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are pieces of text stored on your computer or device when you access a website. We use cookies to enable our servers to recognize your web browser and tell us how and when you visit and use the Services. Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which may prevent your browser from accepting new cookies. Transaction Data

We process credit card transactions to facilitate purchases, subscriptions, and other payments within the Services. Transaction data collected may include your card identifier, transaction date/time, transaction amount, and merchant information. We use this data solely to process and confirm your transactions, maintain records for accounting and tax purposes, detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your transaction data to third parties.

Email, SMS, and Push Notification Communications

We may communicate with you about our products and services using email, SMS or other text messages, or push notifications. When we communicate with you, we may collect information such as confirmation when you open an email or receive a push notification. We use this information to operate and improve our customer service and Services.

You may opt out of receiving marketing messages at any time by sending a request to kashyap@trybezel.com, using unsubscribe links in our emails, or responding “STOP” to any text message. We reserve the right to contact you when we believe it is necessary, such as for account recovery or transactional purposes.

Aggregated and De-identified Information

We collect statistical information that is not personally identifiable and cannot be tied back to you or your account (“Aggregated and De-identified Information”). We may use this information for various business purposes where permissible under applicable laws, including analytics, improving our services, and marketing. We may share this information with Service Providers for their business purposes.

How, and with Whom, Is My Information Shared?

Everyday Business Purposes

We share information about you for everyday business purposes such as processing your transactions, maintaining your account, responding to court orders and legal investigations, or reporting to credit bureaus.

Service Providers

We may share your information with Service Providers who help us operate the Services, including hosting, analytics, payment processing, transaction data retrieval (such as Plaid), and customer support. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.

Marketing Purposes

We may share information about you for our marketing purposes to offer products and services to you.

Business Transfers

If we are acquired, merge with another company, or sell substantially all of our assets, user information may be one of the transferred assets. Any acquirer may continue to use your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Protection of Rights

We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information as we reasonably believe is necessary to: satisfy any applicable law, regulation, or legal process; enforce this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service; detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; respond to user support requests; or protect our rights, property, or safety, our users, and the public.

Is Information About Me Secure?

We protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access and use by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable law. These measures include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, computer safeguards, and secured files and facilities. We authorize our contractors and employees to access your information only when they need it to do their work, and we require companies that work for us to protect your information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.

What Information of Mine Can I Access?

If you are a registered user, you can view information associated with your account by logging into your account or by contacting us at kashyap@trybezel.com. You can access and delete cookies through your web browser settings.

How Can I Delete My Account?

You can delete your account by emailing kashyap@trybezel.com. If you terminate your account, any association between your account and information we store will no longer be accessible through your account. We will continue to store, access, and use information about you and your account in compliance with this Privacy Policy and as required by any applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

What Choices Do I Have Regarding My Information?

  • You can always choose not to disclose certain information to us, but please note that certain information is required for use of the Services.
  • You may request that we remove your payment and financial information, although this may impact your ability to use the Services.
  • You can delete your account, but we will need to verify your authority, and we will continue to store information we collected in connection with past account activity as required by law.
  • You can opt out of certain cookies and tracking technologies as described in the sections above.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we take steps to terminate the account and delete such information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes in the way we collect or use information, we will attempt to notify you by posting an announcement on the Services or sending you an email. Any changes to the Privacy Policy are effective as soon as we post them.

California Privacy Rights

This section applies to California residents about whom we have collected personal information. For purposes of this section, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with a particular California consumer or household, excluding publicly available information, de-identified information, or information outside the scope of the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

Subject to verification of your identity and applicable exemptions, you may exercise the following rights:

  • Request to Know: You may request no more than twice in any 12-month period the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we collected, the sources, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared it.
  • Request to Delete: You may request that we delete Personal Information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions provided by law.
  • Request to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information.
  • Request Not to Sell or Share: You have the right to opt out of having your Personal Information sold to or shared with third parties for cross-contextual advertising. We do not sell your Personal Information.
  • Request to Limit Use: You may request that we limit the use and disclosure of your Sensitive Personal Information.
